Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department Area Risk Dial

Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD) no longer uses a risk assessment dial. SWNPHD has decided to change and follow the Governor's risk assessment which is based on the number of individuals in the hospitals state wide. McCook Public Schools has decided that it is in the best interests of our students and staff to continue to use the standard risk dial, because it focuses on the conditions that exist within the District.

Special Notice
Parents, please make sure that you keep all of your children home from school if one of your children is being tested for COVID-19. Once the testing is complete and you receive your results, you can discuss with the school nurse or Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department your options.

Aviso Especial

Please do not send sick students to school
No envíe estudiantes enfermos a la escuela

Due to a number of students coming to school with illnesses, we are reminding parents not send their sick children to school. Sending sick students to school spreads viruses and illnesses. If you want to keep schools open, please help us by keeping sick students at home. Thank you!

¡Gracias!
